John Kelly '20 Recruiting Profile

As a junior at Albemarle High School, I have a 4.4 GPA and am enrolled in 4 AP classes. I was accepted into the math, engineering, and science academy in my High School and have been enrolled in advanced math and science courses since freshman year. Over the last couple of years I have been surrounded by supportive peers and teachers who have helped grow my passion and interest with the field of aviation. I am part of a peer tutoring program at my school and spend a lot of my free time before or during the school day tutoring others on subjects like English, math, and science. I enjoy athletics and I play for my high school’s varsity baseball and golf teams. I have started on the varsity golf team since I was a freshman and have been recognized with 1st team honors for both my HS district and region. I helped my 5A team to a 3rd place State finish in 2018 and hope we can being home the Championship in 2019. I am interested in playing collegiate golf if I can find the right fit of academic rigor and team unity.
