Being a two sport athlete is what sets me apart from other golfers, but golf is my passion. As a high school varsity baseball player and a select/travel team baseball pitcher, I have experienced many high pressure situations. These high pressure situations have helped me as a golfer. If I hit a bad shot, I can easily shake it off, move forward, and not dwell on the little things that can be thrown my way during a golf match. Baseball has also helped me become a stronger team player for golf.
I am a competitor. As a junior, I tied my high school record for lowest score, which was a 32. I broke the high school record for most medals in a season, and earned our league's MVP this year, however our golf season was cut short due to the virus.
My focus is now on golf. I know I have a lot more to learn to improve my golf game, but with my work ethic and love for the game, I can't wait to share my golf game with you as a college athlete.
