Ever since I was little I have played all kinds of sports. I have played almost every sport you can think of, and some of my favorites were hockey, tennis and soccer. Going into my freshman year I decided to begin committing to golf as my main competitive sport, and I have improved tremendously as I am fairly new to golf. My freshman year I was shooting in the high 80s and low 90s, last year I was shooting in the low to mid 80s, and going into the summer and especially currently going into this fall/winter I am beginning to shoot in the 70s more often, and have made a lot of progress in my golf game. My mental game is something that I value and continue to work on, as I know that is a major factor in creating the difference between a good and great golfer, and ultimately my goal is to attend a school with good strong academic programs, and I want to play competitive golf.
This past spring and summer of 2021 was my first time competing in tournament golf, and although my tournament scores are a bit inconsistent, I have improved a lot over the summer, and I have a couple tournament scores that show that, but I am getting better both on and off the course, and I would love to compete at a competitive level in college.
I am also a Running Start student as I am taking Business and Environmental Classes at Bellevue College, and I am a part of my high school's National Honors Society program, so I take my academics seriously, just as much as I work on my golf game.
