Hello, my name is Grant Wieczorek. I aspire to play golf at the collegiate level as I pursue a degree in business. I just finished my Junior year at Arrowhead High School (Division I) where I played on the Varsity Golf Team which placed 5th in the state. Golf has been my passion ever since I can remember! In 2016 I started competing as a Wisconsin Junior PGA golfer and have since participated in 66 of their sanctioned tournaments. This season I have scored half of my competitive rounds in the 70s and I am committed to building that consistency. I have a positive personality to pump up teammates and can bounce myself back after a blow up hole. I regularly keep in touch with my fellow competitors, whom I’ve met during Wisconsin Junior PGA tournaments, and have even played in paired tournaments with them. I continually work with my swing coach and often spend three to five hours per day at The Practice Station, a facility geared towards honing the skills for all aspects of golf. When I am not practicing I work as a caddie at Erin Hills Golf Course. In addition to golf I have experience playing youth hockey, select baseball and varsity volleyball. These sports have taught me drive, enthusiasm and grit to contribute towards a team effort. Academically, I have the ability to maintain a 3.2 GPA by taking strenuous courses and managing a busy schedule.
I am confident in my ability to contribute to any college level program. Please contact me to see how I could make a difference for your team.
