For half my life, I have played volleyball. My goal is to play at the next highest competitive level that I can in college while furthering my education. Like basketball for Michael Jordan, volleyball is a sport filled with failures but it also creates opportunities if you focus your goals on winning. I like to believe, I’m a proven winner!
For Club last year, because of my athleticism and our team dynamics, I played a six rotation OH as well as OH for High School. My comfort zone is back row where I can hit and read the court and the ball which makes me a great defensive player. Coaches at every level I've played expressed my skill set as:
As I have learned more and more about myself and my desire to play volleyball in college, I realized it’s not all about athletics. It also includes team chemistry, my coach, my teammates and our combined goal to work hard and be selfless.
Life is a journey and I’ve learned something valuable at every level I’ve played. I look forward to including new teammates and new coaches in that journey!
