I have a competitive craving that has continued to be my motivation as an athlete and as a student. I started golfing when I was 3 yrs. old and it soon became the foundation of our family time. But it wasn't until I started to compete in both golf and club baseball that I realized that competition and teamwork was fueling my confidence and overall drive to succeed.
Playing golf and baseball individually and as a team has taught me the importance of trusting myself and my teammates. Success cannot happen without it. I take pride in the fact that in addition to the trophies and awards I have won, I was awarded Team Captain for my High School golf team and in my freshman year I was awarded Team Player of the Year. My strong work ethic and team player mentality carries over into my academic activities as well. I have challenged myself by taking Advanced Placement courses in my junior year, with goal of better positioning myself to be ready for college. I am excited and motivated for what the future holds. It has been an amazing journey so far.
