Challenges are an everyday thing. How we choose to conquer them, defines us. My family and friends have helped shape me into the committed and dedicated person I am. My dad was the one who got me into golf. He gave me plastic clubs to hit in the backyard at a young age. When I was around the age 10, I wanted real clubs to start going to the range and playing par 3 courses. Ever since, I have been in love with golf. I have learned to keep a positive attitude through any challenges that I cross. My academic goal in high school is to maintain a 3.6 or better, and my academic goal in college is to get a degree in engineering. The most unique characteristics that I possess would be commitment, dedication, and passion to complete my goals in academics and in golf. To this day, it seems there is always something that is needed to be improved on. If that is on the golf course or in the classroom, hard work and commitment is needed to fulfill my goals.
