My hometown is Pinedale, Wyoming; this is not the ideal location for an aspiring golfer because I face a six-month off-season with a 9-hole home golf course. However, I have learned that I must have a work ethic and attitude towards the game that is unparalleled; I must capitalize on every second of precious practice time that I have in order to fine tune my game and compete at a high level. Considering the ground is covered with snow for half of the year, I have become creative about other ways to improve my game. These include hitting into a net in my garage, watching my self-swing in the window, and chipping off of the carpet. My family has also made a commitment to traveling to Utah as often as possible to visit my personal golf coach and spend precious time on a challenging golf course. I would strive to be the best team and individual player I can be while representing your program, school and community at the highest level. I am seeking a college where I can earn a strong education while eagerly working to improve my game to propel me to the next level in my golf career. I look forward to the possibility of attending a school that enables me to be on challenging golf courses all year, and work with coaching professionals.
