Brayden James '21 Recruiting Profile

    I found my passion for golf very early in my life at around six years old. Then when I turned seven I entered my first tournament, and my love for the game only grew from there. I owe a lot of my success to my dad, a PGA Professional, and my mom, a two time College Hall of Fame recipient. As well as golf, I grew up playing multiple sports such as football, basketball, track, and soccer. Competing in different sports has shown me what it takes to be a leader as well as a team player. It has also given me experience in competition and the ability to perform under pressure. It is very important for me to further my golf career in college, but I value academics as well. Doing well in the classroom is important to me, and the desire to succeed both academically and as an athlete has instilled in me the value of hard work.  I currently have a 4.0 GPA and continue to have a 4.0 throughout high school. As an athlete I am easily coachable, a quick learner,  and can bring my great work ethic with me every day.
