Welcome to my Profile!
I love Hockey and everything that comes along with it. I aspire to become the best all-around player that I can, and I support the team 100% through everything. Team is always first, and I have played that way all my life.
I have reached the leaderboard in scoring many of my hockey years, but I really like to be a play-maker and grinder. Generally; it is my speed that allows me to generate opportunities. I hope to achieve Major U18AAA in my third year here in Airdrie, Alberta with the CFR Chemical Bisons (currently I am playing U18AA). My commitment to working out, training, learning and practising will hopefully pay-off. I am attending Global Sport Academy for my 2nd year in a row during the school season and in the Spring/Summer; I attend the Global Sport Academy program called STIX.
I have been fortunate to experience many friends that have been successful in getting drafted and/or have made NCAA or major Junior teams, as well have been trained by some of the best coaches in our province over the years. For my future studies after high school; I wish to pursue a Sports Medicine , Sports Therapy, and Sports Training related field.
Although COVID has impacted hockey here in Alberta; I run every morning during the week, workout 4 times a week, play hockey on the pond weekly as weather permits, and still manage to train on-ice 4 times per week at a private facility with a Trainer.
Thank you for considering me,
Jack Turton
