My name is Andrew Polidore . I am fourteen years old and I am currently playing for the Sno-King Jr Thunderbirds 16u AAA. I have my goals set straight regarding hockey and my academics. I want to play for a Junior team and from there work towards making my way to the NHL. I am not completely absorbed by my hockey career, however, my academics are a bit different from other kids. I have completed extra work over this pandemic, so I will be graduating early. My ongoing academic interests are Biochemistry and Bio-engineering. I am very invested in pursuing my hockey dream of going all the way and becoming an NHL player. I have played hockey all around the world, and have gone to many camps in foreign counties, such as the UAE, Czech Republic, China, Germany, and Canada. I choose to travel so that I can learn skills that aren't necessarily taught in America. One of my most recognizable strengths is my speed; but I am also very aggressive with one on ones, a great passer, and good Ice awareness. My time on puck is excellent. Nevertheless, I want to develop my stick handling while I'm skating, and my shot accuracy. I am determined to make it to the NHL I just need dedicated coaching support to help me get there.
