Aidan Tibbetts '21 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

My goal is to play NCAA college hockey and I do everything I can to meet that goal, every single day. I am constantly evaluating myself to see if there is anything more for me to give and to find out what I can do to continue bettering myself as a dedicated student-athlete. I strongly believe that having a solid understanding of the relationship between school and athletics is key to finding success in both hockey and life. I have truly dedicated myself in the classroom and as an athlete. 

I believe that I can fit in at any program at any level as I strive to better my environment, everywhere I go. I am a hard and smart worker and believe that everything I do should be done right. My passion and dedication for the game of hockey set me apart from other athletes of all ages. I pride myself on being a very technically sound goaltender. I use my size and mental clarity to my advantage to play a calm and composed game. I have always been easily coachable as I want to get better every single day. I am highly competitive and driven. I have set short term and long term goals that I am driven to achieve. I believe that I am a good leader on and off the ice and I have an optimistic mindset that is contagious in the locker room.

As I’m writing this, I am 16 years old and currently have 4 years of AAA experience. I am currently on my second year of living with a billet, away from home, and can honestly say that it has been a phenomenal experience that has really allowed me to grow as a young man and an athlete. I am highly respected by my peers, coaches, teachers, and other adults that have helped shaped me into the high character young man that I am today.
