I have played hockey since I was 4 years old in Southern California. My positions have included winger, defense and now, primarily center. I have been committed to play center for the last five years and have played for club teams, high school teams, and select teams. This year, we returned to my local rink so that I could attend Maxwell Hockey Camp regularly. Here I work with Coach Tyler Maxwell as well as privately with Coach Don Johnson. In addition, I work with a power skating coach. I am a hard working, very coachable 5’10” freshman and hope to have a college hockey experience.
My teams have not finished well for various reasons, however I have had personal success which includes being named Captain, having the scoring lead on my team, and multiple MVP honors during tournaments. I am a team player and have tried to empower my teammates.
My academic performance led to participation in the honor roll every semester since 5th grade. My GPA is solid and I keep it fairly steady. My plans for college include learning mechanical engineering as well as design.
I continue to look for opportunities to develop as a center man, with a goal to compete at a DIII level or higher in the future.
