Ever since I started playing hockey, my goal has been to play Juniors after high school and then move on to a four-year college that has both strong academics and a great hockey program. I'm really interested in studying business because I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset, but hockey is my true passion.
I’m not the kind of player who scores flashy goals, but at 6'0" and 225 lbs., I bring a physical presence to the ice. As a power forward, I focus on the gritty aspects of the game—hard-hitting forechecks, battling for the puck, and using my powerful shot whenever I can. I skate hard every shift, trying to make the biggest impact I can, whether it’s through smart plays, strong efforts, or using my size to my advantage.
I’m the guy who’s willing to do the dirty work in front of the net, blocking out defenders, and looking for opportunities to score those tough goals. I also take pride in being reliable in faceoffs and playing a physical game when it makes sense. For me, it’s all about helping the team in any way I can.
Leadership is important to me, both on the ice and in the locker room. I’ve been an Alternate Captain before, and I believe in supporting my teammates, especially when things aren’t going well. I don’t like drama or negativity—I think it’s important for everyone to stick together and push through challenges as a team.
I am also very coachable and have learned a lot from the different coaches I’ve had. I’m always open to feedback and eager to improve my game. I think my positive attitude, hard work, and willingness to learn would make me a valuable teammate for the right team and coach.
I am excited about the possibility of continuing my hockey career in college, where I can grow both as a player and a student. I’m ready to bring my best to every practice, game, and class, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to a great program.
