I am currently a freshman at Upland High School and participating in the U College program. This means I am taking college courses on top of my 6 high school classes. My gpa is a 4.2 and I have one Honor's class in the area of Biology. I hold a part time job where I mow lawns and earn money in my neighborhood. My passion is hockey and I train every day to improve and keep my skills up. School, hockey, and my job keep me busy but I always make time to have fun with my friends and family. I enjoy mountain biking, off roading with my family in our jeep, fishing with my grandpa, and using my camera and computer to make and edit videos.
My aspirations for the next year are to be recruited by a junior's team and possibly play on a team away from home. I believe I am a good candidate for any junior's team because I am a great student in the classroom, and I am able to balance my hockey and my school. This past season I was our assistant captain, and I ran dryland and shared in the responsibilities of locker room talks and organizing off site hikes and workouts which promoted positive team building. As stated in my profile, I am also a dedicated student and I have big dreams of going to college and playing hockey. I am the hardest worker on and off the ice that you will find, and I know what it takes to dedicate yourself to a team. I feel what makes me different is that I like to have fun while doing all of these things in my life. I possess a contagious positive attitude that helps me in all that I try to accomplish. Ultimately, I would like to graduate from college with a degree in the areas of firefighting or video production. No matter what I do, I know there are big things coming!
