Goals and Aspirations:
My goal is to be a college athlete. I intend to complete in college and cherish my experience as a student athlete. I work hard to keep good grades and to keep my body in a healthy and strong state all of the time.
What makes me a good candidate for your team?
I am a highly skilled defenseman that the coaching staff will enjoy developing and players will enjoy playing with. I have been a Varsity starter since my Freshmen year. The league my Varsity team plays in is probably the best AA league in the country. This year's champ, Santa Margarita High School, won Nationals in 2018 and 2014. It is very close to AAA hockey. My coaches and teammates have honored me with the best teammate award multiple seasons because I always put my team first. As a result I was honored to be named a team captain as a Junior. I excel and enjoy every aspect of being a defenseman. I am a fast and strong skater that can lead the breakout and move the puck in all zones. I play much larger than my size (and I'm still growing) and contribute offensively with my passing and shooting skills. I will be the fastest, best passing defensemen you will have on your team. I shut down the top forward's in our league. As a senior in high school I am playing junior hockey in the WSHL for the Valencia Flyers. I am a strong defenseman for my size and I am quick to break the puck out of the corners.
What makes me different than other recruits?
I am motivated to keep my academics and my hockey lives tied together. I love representing my school on the ice and in the classroom. This is why I chose to play high school hockey over club. My positive attitude, balanced perspective, and strong character and leadership will make your team better.
