Joshua Bassett '24 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to play college level hockey in a competitive environment to match my competitive spirit where I am also able to achieve my academic goal of obtaining my bachelors degree. My game play is very physical where I use my large size to my advantage to be a strong presence, protecting the puck and creating puck possession battles. I am a very coachable player who will listen to what my coach has to say and quickly apply that to my game. I'm always looking to improve as a player both on and off the ice.  As a teammate, I always try to keep my team's energy up both on the ice and on the bench. While hockey is important to me, so are my academics. As a student, I am always doing my best to keep my grades up and maintain good habits in school, whether it be studying for a test, or finishing assignments to the best of my ability.
