I was a latecomer to ice hockey at the age of 10. Having tried many individual and team sports, it wasn’t until a friend introduced me to ice skating and hockey at a birthday party that I found my true calling in sports. I've barely left the ice since that day! Over the last five years, and through a pandemic, I have grown from a Bantam B to a Midget AA player, currently playing center for both the Rose City Pats 16UAA and the starting line for the Burbank Cougars Varsity Hockey teams in Southern California.
My goal is to play collegiate hockey at the highest level. I work very hard on and off the ice and always look for opportunities to continue my growth as a player. I feel I am a coach’s dream: I am easy to coach, excel when I am challenged by players who are better than me and coaches who push me, thrive on feedback, support my teammates, and have developed great hockey IQ. Coaches see me as a skilled power-forward with great speed and agility. And if anyone asks, my superpower is my skating.
Outside of hockey, I am a photographer, soccer player, and a Junior Counselor for kindergartners during long breaks. I am currently a sophomore at CHAMPS, a Charter High School for art, media, and performance in Los Angeles, in the Digital Media Academy with a 3.5 GPA. Film studies and photography are my favorite subjects, with architecture and design following close behind. I look forward to continuing these pursuits in college and finding a school that will challenge me on and off the ice!
I am excited about the future, and am fully open to all options. I feel I am on an amazing journey and will continue to work relentlessly on achieving my goals, and ultimately find the right college match with the highest level of competition possible.
