My goal as a hockey goalie is to play for a college or university that offers a engineer or mathematical program to support my ambitions. My athletics and education has given me the opportunities to go farther in life or take a extra risk. I am always willing to put in the work to take those chances, which has made me an honor role student in high school.
My qualities of collaboration and leadership can be seen in class and on the ice. I am always willing to ignite the team with ideas and motivation no matter if the team is my hockey team or a group at school. At school I am always participating in class and on the ice I am directing my teammates the best I can from the crease. One of the qualities that sets me apart from my peers and teammates is my accountability. I am proud to take ownership and put in the effort for all of my work, especially if it needs to be improved. I will not stop at mediocre if I know that I can show more effort. My traits help the team in a game and keep their heads up, no matter the score, for I am always positive.
Playing in a elite college is my goal, but I know that my chances of going pro are 2 in a hundred. Therefore I am aiming to be one of those two people, but am always willing to put my education to the utmost importance first.
