I have dreamed of playing ice hockey after high school for as long as I can remember and have wanted to be a goalie since before I was two years old. I do everything in my ability to help my goals come to realization. I have shown perseverance in my hockey life. Attending a small high school that does not have an ice hockey team did not stop me from promoting myself to a local high school and working to earn the starting position on their JV team as a freshman. As doors have closed I've looked for other opportunities that allow me to continue to grow and better myself as an asset to the teams I am on. I am able to balance competitive hockey and honors coursework while excelling in both. My high school coach recently described me "as having a team first attitude and doing everything in his ability to keep his team in games" and as having a "calm, focused demeanor". I have ambition, drive, and a proven leadership ability that will guide me to meet my athletic and career aspirations.
