Eric Buchholz '21 Recruiting Profile

Winning a Colorado State Championship is something I will never forget. However, if it wasn't for my dad playing hockey over in Germany this wouldn't have been possible. Hockey is something I have always been into for as long as I can remember. Since I could walk I was playing hockey in my driveway with my dad. He's the biggest influence by far. I feel like I've learned that hard work does pay off. I was always playing B and A hockey in Colorado and then i finally got a chance to play AAA hockey at the age of 15. My academic goals for high school are to get a 4.0 GPA my senior year of high school. Last year I had to overcome missing a lot of school because of hockey and my grades diminished so now I have to work even harder to get into a good college. I am different from other recruits because I feel like I fit in almost in every social aspect
