Stratton Miller '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello future coaches and staff, my name is Stratton Miller and I am currently a Senior (2022) playing for The Pine Creek Eagles high school hockey program in Colorado Springs, CO. Since I first threw on some goalie equipment at skate city when  I was just 4 years old, (because of the fact that everyone else cried when told it was there turn, and me being a little different) got to play goal as much as I wanted during the games. I've never looked back since. It has been my favorite sport since the start and always will be. Since day one I have been trying to improve my game to the best of my ability. With the help of some great coaches, even once being helped by Tim Thomas personally when I was a squirt, I have developed skill at my position. On my hockey teams, teammates have looked too me as a leader, and as a friend. I feel that if I am given the opportunity to join your hockey program that I will bring a  sense of tenacity along with me. In the classroom as well, attending Peyton High School, I have achieved good grades. One of the main attributes that most all of my coaches have told me is my ability too keep my emotions to myself, not showing my teammates or the other team how I really feel after a goal goes in. This control, my skill, competitiveness, and work ethic for the game , have truly been the main compliments I have received.  As far as my collegiate goals go, I'd love to keep improving myself as a person and athlete with whichever team gives me the chance to prove myself.  In the classroom as well, I'd love to work hard and achieve a degree for after my hockey career has expired.
