I started playing hockey when I was 4 years old! The way I got into hockey was pretty interesting. My dad and I were watching tv at night and he asked me, “What do you want to watch basketball or hockey”? Him knowing that my brothers played basketball he thought I would choose that. Surprisingly I chose hockey. Through the years that I’ve played hockey I’ve learned that I am a hard worker at everything that I do and I am determined to do whatever has to be done in order to reach the next level. Each season, each practice, each drill I go 100% all the time until it’s over. I take every bit of ice time that I get and use it to my advantage for my opponents. One obstacle I had to overcome was my height. Since I wasn't the tallest guy I knew I had to work even harder. My stride had to be quicker and more powerful to gain speed and beat the defensemen. Since I was smaller my game had to be speed and quickness. My academic goals for highschool is to get all A’s and a 3.6 GPA or higher. The unique skills that I possess is that I have a good knowledge of the game with a high IQ. Having a high IQ is a good skill to have because with good hockey sense you can do anything and pretty much make the right play everytime. Lastly as a Tier 1, high scoring, and assist player, I believe I can make a huge difference on your team!
