I feel that as a student athlete I have my mind in the right place. I pay attention to others, don’t give into peer pressure and am a true leader on my team and in life. On the ice I am not the type to give up and I finish each shift as I started. I have the ability to learn new plays and can adapt my game to the coach’s systems. In the classroom I am focused on objectives and listen to instructions the first time. I lead by example and am not distracted by others, this is how I found my success on and off the ice.
