On the ice, I've always ensured that I am mentally prepared and ready to start a game, leaving little room for losing focus during the game. I always play my best in every game and practice, whether or not I have pressure from my teammates or coaches. Additionally, sportsmanship and spirit are among the virtues I value most, so every time I’m on the ice, I cheer up my teammates and congratulate or respect my opponents.
Outside of the arena, I’ve always been a consistent and disciplined student, with academics being a significant portion of my life. Having a passionate work ethic, having responsibility, and having an eagerness to learn or compete are qualities that set me apart from other players and goalies. Apart from academics, I also practice hard even when I’m not on the ice to prepare myself for games that matter and work on parts of my game to ensure my excellence.
My collegiate and life goals are significant to my drive for success and passion for hockey, as I not only wish to compete on and against high-level college or professional teams but also to make an impact on the community around me, whether that be the arena or school campus.
