My goal is to play and compete at a high level in ice hockey. It has always been my dream, as many share, to play in the NHL, of course. However, my wish at the moment is to be recognized and play college hockey. I have always been an emotional player who doesn't enjoy losing and always leaves everything on the ice in every game. I hold a great deal of respect for my coaches and teammates since I know they put in the work for me, so the same should be done for them. I have played through many injuries and illnesses in my career, but that doesn't take away my work ethic. My coaches and teammates know that I put everything I have into my next shift. I have been commended for my willingness to listen and take in criticism or advice that my coaches and trainers have for me since they know better than me what I have to work on to improve my game and playmaking. I don't like to consider myself arrogant in any way, shape, or form because I know that this won't get me far. I often take the situation at hand much more seriously than my teammates whether it is warming up or watching film because it truly matters to me. I don't view hockey as simply a hobby I hold it to a much higher standard which involves many sacrifices, commitment, and will, because I know that is what it takes to truly become something.
