Coaches,
I am Connor McGarigle, and I play for Walton-Lassiter. Hockey is not a school affiliated sport in the state of Georgia. I do not attend Walton, I attend a catholic school in Roswell called Blessed Trinity. I play for Walton because Blessed Trinity does not have a hockey team. I have been playing hockey since I was about 6 at different levels, mostly Tier II. Since beginning my hockey career, I have had a dream of playing in college and maybe pro someday. The past 2 seasons in the club/travel and high school levels, I have had the role of being a leader or role model on my team. I am always on the bench pumping players up and performing on the ice to my best ability. I led my high school team in goals, assists, and points as a freshman in the 2017-2018 season. I have always been known to my coaches as having a great attitude and working hard on and off the ice. I played up on Walton-Lassiter as an 8th grader and helped them to a state championship. In the 2015-2016, I played up with the '01's as an '02 on the U14 Atlanta Knights A team and helped them in winning the SYTHL Championship. I hope to one day play in college and plan to advance my skills as much as possible in the next few years in high school as well as keeping up with my academics.
Regards,
Connor McGarigle
