Being an athlete is challenging and comes with challenges and time commitments I would have never expected. Being a hockey player has shaped who I am today and taught me what hard work is.

I have been playing hockey for 14 years and I have goals of playing Junior and College hockey. I am a skilled forward who sees the ice well and can move the puck well. I most recently finished my season with Windy City Storm. I played my first half of my season with the Chicago Blues where I was one of the teams captains. Due to my hard work and skill, I caught the attention of the coaches at Storm and begun playing at the AAA level. Not only did I have to switch teams, but as well as levels. I had to quickly accustom myself to the level of play and do what was best for the team even if it meant not getting a lot of minutes. Practices were challenging and fast paced, but once I got in a good grove I worked hard and really learned my role on the team.
