Personal Statement

My name is Rocco Esposito, and I am from Chicago, Illinois. I come from a family of 5, with two younger siblings, and a mom and dad. My parents have always taught me to be respectful, and to work hard. So far, its paid off.

I currently play for the  Chicago Bulldogs Central States team. I would say as a player, I have a completely different mindset when it comes to hockey. I'm way more focused on certain aspects than most people, and I work harder than anyone on the ice. Most people tell me that I have, " Grit". This season coming up, my goal is to make it all the way to a state championship, and maybe a national championship.

I would consider myself a leader on my team because I take this game more serious than anyone. I'm focused all the time, and I'm always ready to go. Teams nowadays need hard workers, someone who is willing to put their life on the line just to score a goal. I would consider myself that guy. You need something, I get whatever you need. I'm a very selfless person, and very respectful to everyone I meet.

My future goals for my hockey career is to move up to AAA next year because it will improve my game way more. I also really want to play college hockey, and make it to the pros one day.

Academically, I do very well in school. I'm a straight A student, always been one. I'm currently a Freshman in Highschool, and its going pretty well so far. I can understand a concept really well, and I always turn in my assignments on time.
