Hello and thank you for checking out my profile, I certainly appreciate you taking time out of your day to learn a little more about me. This past season I played on my varsity hockey team as only one of two freshman to make the team. It was a great year of learning and development for me. I not only grew as a hockey player but I also grew as a student. I learned how to balance my time between the ice rink, weight room and more importantly the classroom. I finished the year strong with a 3.8 GPA while attending honors classes.
This spring (2017) season it really came together for me at the varsity level as I scored 6 goals in 8 games for our spring season. I felt I was able to really implement the things that I had learned from my first varsity season which allowed me to contribute more for my team on the ice this spring. I am excited to carry this momentum into next season and continue to grow as a player.
My summer plans are to be on the ice two times each week while in the weight room three days each week. I am confident that this summer work regiment will pay dividends on the ice this fall.
The 2017-2018 season is now underway and I have continued my success during the spring season earning 3 points in 4 game so far. (1 goal/2 assists). This year I have added an AP class to my schedule (AP Government, Honors Math, Chemistry and Spanish). It certainly has been challenging balancing my grades and hockey but I feel this challenge will better prepare my for the academic pressures at the collegiate level.
Again I want to thank you for reading my profile and if you have any questions or would like to know more please do not hesitate to contact me. I know at 16 years old I have a lot of development left to accomplish but with my size and strength I know I can get there!
