Jacob Behnke '21 Recruiting Profile

I want to go to college to become an engineer, currently, I have not decided exactly what type of engineer I want to be yet. I want to go to a college where I can play hockey to fill my passion for hockey. I am a very hard worker both in hockey and in school. I believe that you can achieve anything you put your mind to and that with hard and perseverance you can achieve anything. I am a very coachable person and will listen and do what has been asked. On and off the ice I am a leader, and have been named the captain of my high school and club team. I help push my team and others through rough and hard times, and I am always trying to help others on and off the ice with hockey-related things and things not related to hockey. On the ice, I am a team player normally putting others before myself. I am a center so I always put the defensive zone first and always backcheck hard to be the 3rd defenseman back. In school, I  am in honors classes and AP classes, I am a near straight-A student with a 4.3 GPA.
