Connor Long '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a very versatile player.  I can play at a forward position usually at center due to my quickness, stamina, and defensive skills in the defensive Zone.  I played most of my youth years at defense and can still play there if needed.  I play on both PK and PP for my current U18 AAA team.  I play up top on PK usually and I play the point on PP or the wall on the umbrella due to the accuracy and strength of my shot.  My skating is very good and I am usually one of the faster players on the ice even at the AAA level.

I desire to play Juniors for a couple years then off to college and get a 4 year degree from my education.  I am still trying to figure out what I would like to major in during college.  The first two years of high school were rough.  My grades were not very good.  But, this year I turned it all around.  I'm raised my GPA and graduated High School early at the end of December 2019.  I attend Total Package Hockey Center Of Excellence - Indianapolis daily and attend school online to accommodate my busy hockey travel schedule to Tier 1 AAA tournaments and showcases all over the USA.   I use my time at the Center of Excellence to practice at minimum 2 hours on ice per day and working out daily with professional trainers.   I am 100% committed in improving my grades and improving my hockey skills.  I like to play other sports but hockey is truly the game I love to play.
