I am a 2005, 5’9”, 140 lb. Defenseman (recently made smooth transition to playing Center and Wing). I have 10 years hockey experience; AAA level for 6 summer seasons, and one regular season. I am an extremely coachable athlete and excellent team player, offering dynamic, fast-paced, quality play with insatiable determination and grit. I have participated in high-level clinics and camps for 9 years, attending body contact, shooting, power/hybrid skating, battle, stickhandling, and defense camps in 2018, and Elite Body Contact clinics, Power Skating, and Edge Training in 2020 thus far. Was awarded Player of the Week in two week-long camps, and Player of the Tournament with the Iowa Wild 2005 AAA team in 2018.
In 2019, I was awarded Player of the Year with the Cedar Rapids Junior RoughRiders, and my 14U team was awarded Team of the Year.
Currently attends hockey practice 4 times a week with the Cedar Rapids Junior RoughRiders, is a member of the FTC/STEM Robotics Team at Clear Creek Amana Middle School (Tiffin, IA), and participates in separate off-ice strength and conditioning training at StrengthU in North Liberty, IA.
In 2018-2019, 16-game regular season, playing at Center and Left Wing, I had: 8 starts, 57 shots on goal, 8 goals, 1 minor penalty, 13 assists, and 5 blocked shots.
Accepted into the Global Hockey camp in Las Vegas, NV, CCM Selects Training camp at the USJDP training site in Michigan, NCAA Ivy Shootout camp in New Jersey, CCM Selects Resident Camp in Illinois, and Legacy Global Selects family of teams, playing in the Green & White camp. 2019 tournament lineup includes 1 Northland Hockey Group tournament with AAA Rink Rats out of Iowa, 2 NHG tournaments with AAA Cedar Rapids team out of Iowa, Chi-Town Shuffle and NAPS Elite with Durham Hockey Institute out of New Jersey, and Chicago Shootout with Legacy Global Midwest. 2020 tournaments: Chi-Town Shuffle and Windy City Cup with North American Alliance, and NHG Combat Cup with Rink Rats.
I have my sights set on playing Tier 1 hockey, Junior hockey in the USHL, and Collegiate level hockey as well.
I strive every day to be a leader on and off the ice with my noteworthy commitment and dedication to my coaches and teammates. My parents (and extended family) quietly support me, keeping me humble, honest, and appreciative of the opportunities hockey has given me to travel the country, meet extraordinary people, and play the game I love.
