Cam Shinnick '24 Recruiting Profile

Now that I am heading to prep school for a post-grad year, my goal is still to become a college hockey player. I am willing to work as hard as I can to make my goal a reality, be it in the gym, in the classroom or on the ice. I believe what sets me apart from other recruits is my desire. I've practiced and played hurt (with a cast on my arm). This is what I have always wanted and nothing is going to stop me from trying to reach my goal. I believe I am coachable, willing to learn and get better. I get along well with my teammates, and I will do anything within my abilities to help the team be successful.  My grades are solid and I am very passionate about the sport of hockey. 

I believe this year in prep school will be very important in my development, not only as a player and a person. I am excited about improving in all aspects and preparing for the next steps in my journey.
