Club Information

  • Seasons of Club Experience
  • 7 seasons
  • 2023 Steinbach Pistons (Junior A)
  • I look forward to my last year of of Junior hockey and have set several goals for myself for the upcoming season.
  • 2022 Steinbach Pistons (Junior A)
  • I recently completed my third year of Junior hockey, with the premiere MJHL club Steinbach Pistons, and was very lucky to have contributed to an amazing season that culminated with the team winning the MJHL league championship/the Turnbull Cup. I achieved excellent personal results, being one of the top five goalies in the league for the majority of the year and was named goaltender of the month twice (September and December).
  • 2021 Selkirk Steelers MB (Junior A)
  • The Selkirk Steelers are part of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL).
  • 2020 Selkirk Steelers MB (Junior A)
  • I was fortunate that hard work paid off and at 17, I was to play my rookie year of Junior hockey with the team that auto protected me when I was 15. Unfortunately, the Steelers' season was cancelled after only 8 games due to the global pandemic.
  • 2019 Winnipeg Thrasher AAA (AAA U18 Provincial)
  • I was happy to return to U18 AAA hockey for another season as a 16 yr old veteran. I was named player of the week once and player of the month once, by the league. I was also nominated for the league's Top Goaltender and for the Skill and Sportsmanship award by my coach, Jim Berezowsky.
  • 2018 Winnipeg Thrasher AAA (AAA U18 Provincial)
  • As a 15 year old rookie, I was excited to make this U18 AAA team. I was named player of the week once during the season.
  • 2017 Winnipeg Hawks (AAA U15 Bantam)
  • I was selected as a League All Star and played with Team East in January. My team went undefeated in the Winnipeg City Championships in February (2 best of 7 series) and Manitoba Provincial Championships (best of 3). We then won a Bronze Medal in the Western Canadian Bantam Championship tournament in British Columbia in March, where I was named the Hawk's game MVP. In April, I was named Bantam Goaltender of the Year by the league, Winnipeg AAA Hockey.

Training

  • Strength, Speed and Endurance Training
  • 6 years
  • I have trained in the spring and summer with Training Performance by Thompson in Winnipeg. Darwin Thompson is a great personal trainer and has gone above an beyond to make my sessions both sport and position specific, even researching and adding specialized visual drills to my training.
  • Positional Training
  • 7 years
  • I have trained off season with Riley Dudar and his team at Evolution Hockey out of Winnipeg for the past seven years, as well as one year in season, 2019-2020 in their VIP/Elite Goalie Program with Jesse Deckert. Although listed as positional training, this program is much more, as the off season training includes strength and conditioning via weight training, multi sport athletics, martial arts and psychological training. Evolution is an amazing hockey program and the first licensed Hockey Canada skills program in Manitoba.
  • Positional Training
  • 10 years
  • For more than ten years, I have worked on positional training with the Ice Lab out of the Bell MTS IcePlex in Winnipeg since the age of seven, first with Brent Zelenewich and then with Andy Kollar for many years now The Ice Lab is a fantastic facility that offers one on one 30 minute instructional sessions. I have attended 5 to 10 sessions at this facility every year.
  • Positional Training
  • 10 years
  • Outside of what is already identified, over the past thirteen years I have also attended various goalie training camps during spring break, winter break and in the summer with organizations such as Steve Briere's Canadian Professional Goalie Schools, Brent Zalenewich's Tailor Goaltending, Rick St. Croix 's Goaltending Academy, along with many others, in both Brandon and Winnipeg, Manitoba.
