As a hockey player, I am a student of the game.  I love to learn from my coaches and teammates.  I am a team player in that I believe that my personal success is more likely when the team succeeds.  I aim to be the hardest working player on every team I play on, and I was named the hardest working player for the U18 AAA league in Manitoba for the 2022-2023 season. On the ice, I am tenacious and physical.   I play responsible hockey in the defensive zone and generate offence by winning the puck in the hard areas of the ice.

As a student, I apply the lessons of hockey to academics.  I work hard to achieve the best marks I can.  I pay attention to detail and prepare so as to maximize my results.

I believe that being a collegiate athlete would allow me to continue to grow in the game I love and provide an avenue to further my academic career.
