My name is Greg Iverson, I am currently the starting goaltender for the Boston Junior Bruins USPHL Premier Team. I moved from the Midwest to Massachusetts to attend Prep School (Williston). This past year I made the decision to play Jr. Hockey while finishing up my senior year of high school. It has continually been my goal to challenge myself academically in preparation for college while continuing to play high level hockey.
I had the fortune of working with Bandits Goaltending School (Joe Messina) while growing up in Michigan. My family moved to Wisconsin, while a freshman in high school I continued to play AAA hockey for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals. My play with the Admirals and East Coast Kings Select team garnered me an invitation to come play prep hockey in New England which I accepted as an opportunity to further challenge myself in the classroom while showcase my skills.he ice.
Aspiring to earn a degree with the possibility of advancing the degree in pursuit of a career, I bring a tool box of skill sets to both the classroom and the ice rink. My growth mindset and ability to communicate my thoughts, both written and spoken, distinguish myself in the classroom. My active hands, compete level, and rebound control set me apart on the ice. Competitive participation in tennis and track have additionally enhanced my performance on the ice.
I play the game of hockey because I love the game of hockey, passion fuels my drive to compete. I respect the game and my opponent and never lose sight of having fun while competing.
