Raymond Ivers '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard working striving teammate who works hard to push my limits. Freshman year I did not play as there were 4 sophomore goalies ahead of me. My sophomore year I worked hard on and off the ice to get the starting position for JV.  Later the next year, now I am a Junior who was on the bench during the first half of the season as the coach wanted the senior goalie to play his last year. When my coach needed me, I stepped up into my position, starting for the rest of the year, helping my team make it to the D1 South Finals entering the playoffs as last seed (11th).  This year, I have greatly improved due to the help of not only my family, coaches, and friends but my mindset that has pushed me to my limits and goals. I earned this year's most improved player in the program. This was a big accomplishment for me which boosted my confidence leading me to work hard to my ultimate goal.
