I am the hardest worker on and off the ice and am constantly focused on ways to improve my play, whether that be at my desk watching a film on my game or nhl goalies, or off the ice at the gym working out 5-6 days a week. My grind to become better and improve myself both as a goalie and as a student takes no breaks. I live breathe and sleep hockey and will do anything it takes to help my team win. I have been awarded a captain for my senior year and I take extreme desire in this achievement. The freshman year I was at the bottom of a depth chart with 6 goalies, my initial reaction to being put on JV was writing the exact phrase my coach informed me of when I was cut on my stick. I kept the writing there all year and my entire club and an off-season going into my sophomore season. In my sophomore season, I was slotted as the 3rd goalie on the depth chart behind both a senior and a junior. My work didn't stop and I pushed myself to ultimately take the starting spot halfway through the season. While there were some bumps on the way, I managed to start our playoff game against a very skillful Medway team who were favorites to win the state championship. We ultimately lost this game 1-0 but the game gave me even more motivation and determination going into my junior year to bring a very youthful team of mostly sophomores into the MIAA D3 playoffs as the 31 seed. We won handily in a very close game in the preliminary round to earn our spot to take on a very good Lynnfield team. We came up short losing 5-0 which still irritates me writing this. During the year I was selected as a Hockomock League All-Star, and Sun Chronicle All-Star, and awarded the team MVP. I look forward to making a deep run into the MIAA tournament my senior year and anything, but this will be a disappointment. I am currently looking into both joining any team that will give me the opportunity in the ACHA
