Aleksander Leonelli '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alek Leonelli. I am 18 years old and currently playing U18 AAA for Atlantic Coast Academy in Pittsfield, MA. My short term goal for my hockey career is to play Juniors with my main goal playing D1 hockey. I consider myself to be a great player to have both on and off the ice. I would say my biggest attribute in hockey is my foot - it is always on the gas pedal whenever anyone has the puck. I am a grinder in the corners and a good play maker and I pride myself on my excellent work ethic both on and off the ice. With living away from home I have learned to be independent and have developed excellent organization skills to balance my academics with sport and working an after school job. In 2022 I was one of three forwards selected to represented Utah at the Rocky Mountain District Camp.
