Hello, my name is Maverick Secours, and I'm a French-Canadian hockey player who played in the 18U AAA Prep at Atlantic Coast Academy in Pittsfield, Massachusetts last season. I'm a student-athlete who's passionate about both academics and sports. My life is centred around three things: family, education, and sports, and I always aim to excel in all of them. I recently came to this school to pursue my dream of playing hockey at the college level and learning English as my second language, as it was a top priority for me. My ultimate goal is to play for a top-tier college team with an outstanding hockey program in the NCAA. I believe that, as an athlete, I can overcome anything with determination, persistence and a strong work ethic. I'm always looking for ways to improve my skills and take pride in supporting my teammates and friends in achieving their goals. I'm confident that I have what it takes to succeed at any high-level hockey program. If I had to describe myself as an athlete, I would say I am gritty and hard-working with a compete level that showcases my skilfulness, like a Swiss army knife for any team.
