Alexander Welburn '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Alex, and I hope I can play hockey at a collegiate level in my future. If I had to name one quality that sets me apart from others, it would have to be my attention to detail. During practices, I always come with a specific plan on what to improve, and how to improve it. In school, I try to put as much thought as possible into every assignment, and I hope that’s properly represented in my grades. As a goalie, my philosophy is that keeping focused when things don't go your way is the important thing in goaltending. I believe one of the most important ingredients of success is the attitude you bring to the game. I know that games are won in practice, and that nobody has won anything without outworking their opponent. I hope that my future teammates and coaches can share these beliefs as well as pushing me beyond what I think I can do.
