William Boyer '20 Recruiting Profile

My number one goal for college is to receive a good education so that I will have more opportunities in the future.  Playing hockey in college would be the greatest experience of all because of my love for the game.  My ultimate goal is to play professional hockey.  My work ethic is vey high which motivates me to strive and improve my game daily in all aspects.  
After I graduated high school in 2020 I continued on with junior hockey and now playing for the Motor City Gamblers in Fraser, Michigan.  I am also attending Oakland Community College.  As I am in my last year of junior hockey, I will be looking to attend a university full-time in the fall of 2023.

My hockey career after youth hockey included playing in the NAHL3 for the Atlanta Capitals while I was a senior in high school.  I scored five goals and five assist in the first 15 games.  I then decided to played on my high school varsity hockey team my senior year in high school where I was the offensive MVP. I then went on to play junior hockey in the USPHL Premier league and struggled the first year, but then joined the Motor City Gamblers this season and now I am the top goal scorer on the team and have received player of the week awards from the USPHL Premier league.  I am also leading the team with 26 goals in 36 goals.

I am a skilled and physical forward on both sides of the puck. My coaches have told me that my hockey sense is most impressive.  I have been very successful this season.  My speed and with physical play has allowed me to be a top line forward.
