I aspire to be a collegiate student-athlete at a school that offers me a variety of academic programs. While not yet certain of my future career direction I do hope I can make hockey a large part of my college experience. I have excelled at multiple sports including soccer (club team was top 10 in Michigan at Premiere 1 level), tennis (varsity in 2nd season after never playing), and hockey at all levels. I dedicated myself to hockey over soccer following junior high school because my passion for the sport. A former defenseman for my travel teams I converted to wing just prior my freshman year in high school per coaching requests because of my top end speed. I'm typically a north-south player that passes the puck extremely well and have developed a scoring touch (19 goals, 25 games as sophomore). My upcoming season will include a move to center (I suspect) to support team needs. Our high school team is rebuilding under a great new coaching staff I feel impelled to support the programs growth by sticking around to finish my final two seasons. Winning is very important to me but the friendships I have made through athletics have been irreplaceable.
