I am Emerson LaRoche. I live in Minnetonka, Minnesota. I am a 2025 grad at Minnetonka High School. I have been playing hockey since I was 2 years old. From backyard ice rinks to specialized training, I have always played hockey. Hockey is my life, and I love it. Even though I love hockey, I also have other interests. I am self taught in guitar, and I enjoy skateboarding, biking, and hanging out with friends. I feel I am very creative when it comes to everyday life, and I always want to improve my skills.
In school, I am in an honors science class and advanced math. I received a 5/5 score on the AP Spanish Exam and received a bilingual platinum seal on my diploma. I also do many out of school activities like Sundays with the Skippers where I volunteer at Peak Performance and serve as a role model and mentor for youth hockey players in order to build community. Finally, I have been recognized for my high grades by the school board as well as received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.
My overall goal in hockey is to get to the NHL. It has been my dream since I was a little kid. However, I have many shorter term goals. For example, to make the varsity high school team, and to go to a D1 college. I hope to achieve these goals by working hard on, and off the ice.
