Courtney Youngquist '22 Recruiting Profile

Being apart of a team and surrounding myself with people who have the same goals as mine has been something i’ve been passionate about since the beginning.  I was inspired to start lacrosse in 6th grade after watching my older sister play for years and always tagging along at games. Watching my sister become apart of a family and gain that sense of community I longed for is what pushed me to start playing. I knew how hard I was going to have to work because of how late of a start I got to the sport. Throughout the years, I learned it doesn’t matter when you start, just how passionate you are about the game. Which for me, is strong enough that I want to pursue my love for the game past high school. Not only do I love being an athlete, but I strive as well to be the best student and push myself to the next academic level. Going through both honor and AP classes have taught and fully prepared me for the future classes to come.
