I committed myself to hockey at a young age and It has been a dream of mine to continue my hockey career after high school. I knew If I worked hard enough I could do It. As my high school career Is coming to an end I'm doing everything I can to move on to the next level and continue doing what I love.
I am a leader on the ice and strive to be the best teammate I can be. I believe being a team player is very important to the team's success. I believe I contribute the most to the team with my play making and offensive ability. I was awarded with JV MVP my sophomore year and developed into a varsity player my junior year. I'm also very coachable as well as a very respectful and kind human being.
Doing well in the classroom is very important to me and my family as It is important not to limit opportunities for yourself. I've made sure to keep up my good GPA all throughout high school and to continue to become a better and more mature student. I'm also hockey coach in the summer time teaching younger kids at the local rink.
I want to attend college so that I get the opportunity to further extend my education and hockey career. I'm looking to have the best four years of my life where I can shape my future and develop into a more mature student, teammate, and adult as I look to work hard and make the most out the opportunity given to me.
