  • The purpose of the CCM High Performance Program is to identify, train, educate and evaluate Minnesota's best hockey players. The competition throughout the program gives each player the opportunity to measure themselves against others in his age group, gain knowledge about his development and to be exposed to outstanding coaching.
  • 2024 Tier 1 - MN Blue Ox 15U (AAA)
  • The CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Tier I Leagues provide the top players from each district or section a chance to play with and against the best players in the state. For the 2024 - 2025 season, the Youth 15 classification is for players born in 2009. The Leagues are conducted in accordance with USA Hockey rules and all teams are eligible for USA Hockey’s Tier I National Championships. The Youth 15 Tier I League will have 8 teams this season. These will be teams from the 12 Minnesota Hockey districts: Loons (District 2), Walleye (District 3), Polars (Districts 4/5), Lakers (District 6), Moose (Districts 8/9), Green Giants (District 10), Voyageurs (Districts 11/12) and Blue Ox (Districts 15/16). The tryout process will begin in June with competition weekends starting in August and running through late September. As part of the CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance programs, there will be 18 on-ice skill development practices, eight off-ice training sessions, and at least 20 games including league games, Hockey Federation Showcase and playoffs.

  • 6/09/24 to 6/14/24
  • 102 selected players participate in a weeklong training camp at St. Cloud State University. Six teams play a round robin schedule of games, attend dry land training sessions, and classroom sessions daily. The staff at the Summer Development Camp will be headed by Camp Director, Scott Dornfeld of Minnesota Hockey and will include prominent college and high school coaches teamed with current and former college hockey players to serve as coaches, role models, and counselors for each team.
