Thank you for your time. My name is Ian Wells, attending Northwest High School in Cedar Hill, Missouri. I have been enjoying robotics competitions throughout junior high and high school and wish to further pursue engineering and robotics. I also wish to continue playing the great sport of hockey to better myself as a player and person, both on and off the ice.
Our Northwest Lions Ice Hockey team went to Semi-Finals in the 2020 MSCHA Founders Cup Championship this season. My stats. 3 assists, 1 goal, a new team playoff record for defenseman under 16.
Both ice hockey defense and education require dedication, always improving and competition. Win my shift, we win the period, then we win the game.
As with all of us, the pandemic has been a challenge, unfortunately my mom has the added fight of breast cancer this year, she has been a “season ticket holder” since I fell in love with ice hockey at age 5.
I hope to have the opportunity to show you that I can be an asset to your program while pursuing my education and personal development.
Looking forward to hearing from you, if video helps I have some on YouTube “Ian Wells Hockey Videos”.
Again, thank you for taking your time today.
Ian Wells, #28, Defense
