COLIN CHANDLER '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Colin Chandler. How's it going.
I have been playing ice hockey since I was 4 years old. I have won 45-60 medals, trophies, plaques from playing ice hockey throughout my life. I visited Quebec Canada my Pee Wee year and stayed with a canadian billet family and to play against canadian ice hockey teams. It was an experience of a lifetime. We saw a London Knights hockey game in Canada, my coach's son was on the team playing for the London Knights, Phillip McRae, then he went on to become a St. Louis Blues player last year. His dad coached my team when I was a mite. I have traveled all over the United States for hockey games since I was around 8 years old. I have been on teams that have won 1st place in Championships at Music CIty Nashville TN, Won two times in Big Bear Championships Tournament in Indianapolis, Won Championsips at Little Caesars Tournament in Chicago, Nike Bauer in Chicago just to name a few. I was assistant captain of my team in 09-2010 freshman year. My current Chesterfield Falcons Midget Major Team is Number #1 in our Division U18 Central States in Chesterfield, MO. I am 17 years old, 6'2" - 175 lbs. My speed and size is a major factor in my game play and it is to my advantage. I have scored twelve goals this season as a defenseman. I would like to continue my college education while playing ice hockey for a mid to large size University or College in the Midwest to the West Coast. I am open to college choice at this time. My mom would like me to stay close to Missouri but my dad lives in California. I want to be part of a notable hockey team if possible while pusuing my education B.S. in business degree. I most likely will need some financial assitance and may need help in applying for a grant.
